This safari starts in Entebbe when you are picked by our guide, takes you through Bwindi Impenetrable to view the remaining gorillas in Bwindi/ Mgahinga or PNV in Rwanda depending on the availability of the Gorilla permits.

You then go through Queen Elizabeth National Park for Climbing Lions of Ishasha, game viewing, birds, crocodiles, plant species and Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge before you return to Kampala .

This safari is quite enriching as it takes you through two prime parks of this beautiful country.

Itinenary

Day 1
Leave Kampala in the morning heading south-west to bwindi impenetrable national park by road.Hve a stop over at the equator for photographs and interesting information about the equator. Proceed to mbarara where you will stop over for lunch. For the rest of the journey will drive through the terraced hills and highlands of western Uganda arriving in bwindi late evening the home of mountain gorillas. Overnight at gorilla resort or buhoma community bandas.

Day 2
Gorilla tracking in the rain forest to encounter with the great apes. Before you begin your experience in the jungle will be briefed by the park ranger guides, there after the tracking begins. It’s quite a challenging activity walking on the steep slippery hills but such a rewarding inspiring moment watching these shy peaceful apes as they grumble and marvel. The time taken observing these beautiful creatures is extraordinary.If you come back early from the tracking you can take a guided village walk to see the life style of the local community or guided nature walk to River Munyaga which leads to the water falls, tree ferns and some birds. Overnight at gorilla resort or buhoma community bandas.

Day 3
After breakfast drive to Rwanda a country of hills, relaxations at the lodge as you enjoy the panoramic view of the volcanoes. Overnight at gorilla nest lodge or kinigi guest house.

Day 4
Wake up early for breakfast, after proceed to Parc National des Volcans a tropical rain forest famous for habituated gorillas living in their natural habitat. You need to carry packed lunch and enough water for drinking. It’s a rewarding experience seeing the gorillas though quite challenging activity.
If the time is enough for the afternoon can go visiting old karisoke Dain Fosseys centre and grave, or golden monkeys ,or  nature walk.

Overnight at gorilla nest lodge or kinigi guest house.


Day 5
Drive back to Kampala after breakfast, lunch enroute.
