This national Park is located in south western Uganda.Bwindi impenetrable national park offers a true experience of an African tropical rainforest which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
Gorilla tracking is the major activity with four tracking groups available namely Mubare, Rushegura, Habinyanja and Nkuringo.This itenary will give you a memorable experience .

The Itinerary

Day One
After an early morning breakfast, leave Kampala heading to the west. On arrival in Masaka stop over at the equator for photography.

Enjoy the rest of the journey viewing Ankole long horned cattle, Papyrus Swamps and breathtaking landscapes. Lunch enroute at Mbarara and arrive in Bwindi late evening. Dinner/overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Banda’s.

Day Two
Early in the morning head to the briefing point. With the help of guide’s set off for gorilla tracking in the Bwindi forest (jungle).You have to carry packed lunch, drinking water, comfortable tracking shoes and rain jacket. The park rangers will provide you with a walking stick.An encounter with the shy, peaceful gorillas depends on their movement.
Dinner/overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Banda’s.

Day Three
Drive back to Kampala after breakfast lunch enroute.

End of gorilla safari.
