Gorilla Tour -Queen 5 Days

This safari starts in Entebbe when you are picked by our guide, takes you through Bwindi Impenetrable to view the remaining gorillas in Bwindi/ Mgahinga or PNV in Rwanda depending on the availability of the Gorilla permits.

You then go through Queen Elizabeth National Park for Climbing Lions of Ishasha, game viewing, birds, crocodiles, plant species and Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge before you return to Kampala .

This safari is quite enriching as it takes you through two prime parks of this beautiful country.

Itinenary

Day 1
After an early breakfast, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, have a stop over at the equator for photography. Lunch enroute, for the rest of the journey drive through the beautiful scenery have a glance at the long horned ankole cattle, marvelous terraced hills, arrive in Bwindi late in the evening. Dinner/Overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas.FB.

Day 2
After an early breakfast in the morning you proceed to the park headquarters for the briefing and registration, set off to the jungle for the tracking activity. It is such a challenging activity you need to carry packed lunch, drinking water, rain jacket, comfortable tracking shoes to enable you walk through the steep muddy slopes and a walking stick that will be provided by the rangers.
After the viewing of these delightful and fascinating rare gorillas in the misty mountains return to the lodge.
If still capable after a rest take a village walk; visit the local medicine man. Dinner/Overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas.FB.

Day 3

Early in the morning after breakfast leave Bwindi proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park with packed lunch. Drive through Ishasha sector, the southern part of the park famous for the tree climbing lions. It is such a wonderful time watching these lions resting on the fig trees of Ishasha sector. As you drive to the lodge for check in will sight other animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs and many others. Overnight at mweya safari lodge/Institute of ecology.

Day 4
Wake up early to a cup of coffee, early morning game drive along the Queen’s mile and kasenyi track expect to see bush bucks, warthogs, elephants, topis, Uganda kobs and birds.
After lunch go for the launch cruise on the kazinga channel  which has the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles, variety of bird species and many animals drinking water. Dinner /Overnight at mweya safari lodge or institute of ecology


Day 5
After breakfast drive to kyambura gorge for chimpanzee trekking and other primate’s species like red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys.Drive back to Kampala lunch enroute.
