Murchison Falls national park is Ugandans largest park protecting a chunk of untamed African savannah in the rift valley escarpment bisected by the mighty River Nile which explodes through a narrow gorge gives a beautiful view. The mammals include elephants, giraffes, lions,buffaroes,antelopes, bush beasts and numerous bird species.

The Itinerary

Day One

Drive northwards in the morning through Luwero and Nakasongola, stop over at Masindi hotel for lunch. Continue with your journey through Budongo forest, take sometime at the top of the falls enjoying the roaring falls exploding through the narrow gorge.
Be in time for the ferry crossing to the exquisite paraa safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at paraa safari lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chilli Camp.

Day Two
After an early breakfast ,go for a game drive. Wildlife includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, oribis and watrbucks.After lunch .boat cruise which gives an exciting panoramic view on the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. It enables you to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork.

Day Three

After breakfast get ready for ferry crossing drive back to Kampala at leisure via budongo forest.

Optional Activities

Visit to the Rhino Sanctuary.Chimpanze trekking at Kanigo Pabidi in Budongo forest on the third day before driving to Kampala.
