Day 1
Drive northwards through the Luwero triangle and have a stop over in Masindi hotel for lunch. Proceed to the marvelous Murchison falls national park which protects a chunk of untamed African savannah bisected by the mighty river Nile.
Drive to the top of the mighty spectacular falls where the fresh water gives a breathtaking atmosphere. Enjoy the beautiful roaring falls exploding violently through a narrow cleft in the rift valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.
Dinner and overnight at the luxurious Paraa safari lodge or Red chilli rest camp.FB.
Day 2
An early morning game drive through the northern part of the park to see wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, giraffe, antelopes, lions and waterbucks. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
Afternoon launch cruise on the river Nile taking you up to the bottom of the mighty falls which forms great thunders and panoramic view for taking photographs. while on the cruise you have an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles,elephants,buffaroes and many other wild animals drinking water on the river banks and a variety of bird species like bee-eaters,cormorants,king fishers, herons and the rare shoe bill stork.
Return to the lodge dinner/overnight at paraa safari lodge/Red chilli rest camp.
Day 3
After an early breakfast leave Murchison falls heading south westwards via budongo forest through the Albertine western Great Rift Valley on the masindi-hoima fort portal road. Enjoy the beautiful vegetation of the country side as you proceed to Fort portal will be welcomed by the shadow of the fabled mountains of the moon, tea plantations. Dinner/overnight at Ndali lodge or Fort motel or sky tree house.
Day 4
After breakfast drive to kibale forest national park famous for the habituated chimpanzee trekking. It is a large protected rainforest which has the highest number of primates in Africa like grey checked mangabey, red-tailed monkey and black and white colobus monkey. On a guided walk will encounter families of chimpanzees and other primates which offer a superb opportunity for photographs. Its very exciting watching the chimps behaviour.Return to the lodge and in the afternoon take a visit to the bigodi wetland sanctuary which is managed by the local people, with a variety of bird species including white casqued hornbill, warblers, weavers, sunbirds, greenbuls, African pitta, crowned eagle, yellow spotted nectar, green breasted pitta, The rich vegetation inhabits papyrus, butterflies hence a wonderful place for bird lovers. Dinner/overnight at Ndali lodge or fort motel or sky tree house.
Day 5
After breakfast leave kibale for another amazing park queen Elizabeth national park which boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game in the world. A game drive enroute viewing wildlife like warthogs,elephants,waterbucks, buffaloes ,birds and other lots of animals.
After lunch boat trip along the kazinga channel with an amazing remarkable number of bird species, hippos and animals drinking water at the water edge. This makes it a superb platform for photography. Dinner/overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Mweya Hostel
Day 6
After breakfast embark on an early morning game drive along the kasenyi track expecting to see Uganda kobs , impalas, mongoose, waterbucks, elephants buffaloes lions, hyena other smaller animals birds. Drive via maramagambo forest through the remote Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable national park for the wonderful mountain gorillas. Dinner/overnight at gorilla resort or Buhoma homestead and Buhoma Community Banda’s for budget accommodation.
Day 7
Early in the morning after breakfast proceed for briefing from the park guides before the tracking begins. You have to carry packed lunch, drinking water, rain jacket and comfortable tracking shoes. Encountering the most exciting gorillas depends on their movments.the visitors are given enough time to watch the endangered species, take photographs. After the observation and watching them interact return to the lodge. Dinner/overnight at Gorilla Resort/buhoma homestead or Buhoma Community Banda’s.
Day 8
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo national park famous for a number of zebras and other wildlife like buffaloes, antelope and plenty of bird species especially for bird lovers. Having a lake within makes it a very beautiful park. A game drive and boat trip on the lake gives good opportunities to view wildlife like impala,topi and birds such as black and yellow gonalek,white pelican and rare shoebill stork. Dinner/overnight at Mihingo lodge or Agip motel.
Day 9
Drive back to Kampala after breakfast at leisure make a stop over at the equator for some photographs and the royal drum makers how they make their crafts. Lunch enroute.
